If you've read your welcome message then you already know where to start posting, and some basic things.

But maybe you don't understand how everything really works.

Well you're a citizen of an unnamed city, which has recently fallen under a horrible disaster.

To participate you simply write in what your doing in the city, what you encounter (based on what you know about the situation, don't invent dinosaurs), and what happens when you do encounter what you invented. Depending on what happens to you (what you write) and where it happens, you can change the what's going on in the city. Maybe you unlocked something you shouldn't have on accident. Maybe you woke something up you didn't mean to. Who knows?

Every once in a while you'll get an email from me giving you a special situation. Depending on how you react to it affects the world a great deal.

World "events", change the way you have to write. For instance, if this was about evil zombies, if I wrote an event that they all suddenly stopped walking around and plant monsters popped out of their heads, you'd have to write about that new situation.

Whenever posting a new situation please title it Day "x" : (Your Username) [X standing for the number of posts you've made in character.]
